The
Mummy Parody - TV (2001)
![]()
The Mummy Parody was made for mtv and is very short, only 5
minutes and 40 seconds. There are two scenes, of course taken
from "The Mummy Returns", but with Kirstin Dunst
(instead of Evelyn) and Jimmy Fallon (instead of Rick). They are
trying to open the door which leads to the chamber of the
bracelot of Anubis. Out of the shadow comes Ardeth Bay (Oded
Fehr), telling them that they have been chosen to host the 2001
mtv movie awards. (Ardeth: "I'm sorry I have to wait in the
shadow to make my entrance more dramatic.") Finally and with
the original mummy-music they manage to open the right door and
find the Golden Popcorn (no bracelet!). The next and last scene
is that one on the flying ship. Instead of Izzy we have Snoop
Dogg. Jimmy telefones with Imhotep telling him to host the movie
awards, but that guy is furious, because no one has asked him. So
he brings the big Schneider-water-wave into action which brings
the ship with our four heroes down. Jimmy tries to clean Ardeth's
face from his tattoos again (like before in the ante-chamber
room), at least he manages to get the one on his forehead off.
Okay, that's all from that small movie parody.
