The rock tombs on the western bank of Aswan

Here one can see clearly the ramps on which the sarcophagi were pulled to the tompbs. The small entrances are leading to the tombs which can be visited. On the dune you can see the tomb of Sheik Kubbet al Huwwa ("Star of the Airs").
