On the steps of the pyramid of Cheops

We visited the Pyramid of Cheops inside and had to "upstairs". If one is very near to the pyramids, they looked like stony steps. Today there is only this stone-steps core left, the once white and smoothe covering was taken off the pyramid. People used it as material for house building.
